Dr. Kovacevic is the consummate professional in the field of orthopedic surgery.
He is one of the most knowledgeable and skilled physicians I have worked with during my career, and he also has great empathy for his patients. All-encompassing medical care
While serving as the head team physical therapist and mental performance coach for Rugby New York with Dr. Kovacevic we got to do something rare and special, win a national championship in professional sports (Major League Rugby). That couldn't have been done without Dr. Kovacevic's all-encompassing medical care from running onto the field with me, suturing players after games, performing complex surgical procedures on our players, to spending countless hours helping with the administrative aspect needed in a demanding sports medicine team setting. His understanding of the emotional side to recovery from injury alongside the time he spends with each athlete speaks volumes to his level of empathy and compassionate bedside manner. The experience I had working with Dr. Kovacevic is the type that we all hope to have as both patients and clinicians with any orthopedic surgeon.
